It's fairly obvious who these guys are. This is called a caricature and was done by Dave Soete our Super Spot operator and crewman Doug's son-in-law.
The resemblance is remarkable for each of us. Dave really captured not only the look but I see it going deeper than that. He has our expressions nailed. Our expressions from our hearts are definitely showing through in these drawings.
The funny thing I noticed is that each of us can see the others much better than we can see ourselves. I think Dave captured everyone except for me to the "T". And everyone else thinks the same. We can each see each other but are hesitant to admit that Dave really captured "ME" with his pen and ink.
Great job Dave. And thank you for the hours of drawing this must have taken you. We will use these Caricatures as best we can and will always let everyone know...Drawing by Dave Soete.
We have added another feature to our blog page. What this is is called a widget. If you don't like receiving the email and having to click on the weblink to open the blog. You can subscribe to FeedBurner and every new post to the BSI Blog will be automatically delivered directly into your IN box of your email. You will never have to click anything to open our blog again.
Try it you'll like it. If you don't like it you can unsubscribe just that easily.
If you haven't visited our website www.BlueStoneIvory.com recently you need to check it out. Ted has posted most of our summer gigs in photos and many of them are funny, entertaining and informational. You may find someone you know in one of the photos.
Also go to Now Appearing and you can get all the information about BSI playing at Jim & Jack's this weekend. We hope to see all of you there this weekend. We have some special stuff going on and you do not want to miss out.

I for one think the caricature is awesome! And it does capture each band member perfectly. If you guys send out Christmas cards, this would be a great one. I had the good fortune to view the pic at St. Bernard church on the 13th. What a talented young man! Looking forward to a music-filled weekend at Jim & Jack's, but I may have to work Friday night. I'm hoping my daughter can find another available worker that night. You all know that I don't like to miss any concerts. If I have to work, I can still get down to the restaurant for the last part of the evening. Hope to see you all! Carol
