Fan of the Month

It's that time of month again. Each month we plan on featuring one (or two) of our special friends as Fan(s) of the Month. We will, with their permission of course, tell you a little about them and why they were picked fan of the month.   

For the Month of October 2008 our fans of the month are Sue and Ed

Sue and Ed first experienced BlueStone Ivory at Moonlight Gardens Several years ago. They said they have been hooked ever since. You will usually see Sue and Ed at many BSI gigs, especially at the outdoor concerts.

Being regulars at Jim & Jack's is easy because they are residence of Independence Kentucky.

Sue and Ed really enjoy attending our performances. Like many other fans they all seem to get together and form relationships and actually make lots of new friends together. That is really cool!!! BSI has become sort of a club.

Sue and Ed have been married almost 39 years...WOW! That's incredible. Congratulations. Maybe in a year or so, have a 40th wedding anniversary somewhere and hire BlueStone Ivory to play at your party? That would be fun. Or we can announce it at one of our gigs. We try to turn all of our gigs into a party.

Ed retired from the Navy and has worked as a Clinical Engineer at St. Elizabeth Hospital for several years. Sue says she gave up working quite a while ago. Their two kids and especially their two grandchildren manage to keep them quite busy.

We enjoy looking into the audience and seeing our regular fans always attending. Sue and Ed are usually there, and for that reason we are proud to name them Fans of the Month.

We have many other fans that we enjoy seeing on a regular basis. You will be approached someday soon and asked to be our fan of the month. So be there and be ready.

Don't forget... this Friday November 7th BSI is playing for a benefit in Newport Kentucky. It will be at the Reserve IMAX Room at Newport on the Levee.

I echo Carol and Kevin's comment about Sue and Ed being chosen Fans of the Month. It's so nice to learn little extras about the BSI fans from the blog. They have both been so congenial and comfortable to be with. And Ed even danced with me at Jim and Jack's last month! What a nice guy and Sue, you are nice to let him dance with me...I don't get many invitations. If you attend the Yearlings gala on the 7th, I'll see you. If not, hopefully you will be at Jim and Jack's later in the month. Congratulations!
