Bob Wilson Allert! He was great as ever.

Last Saturday night we had the pleasure of Bob Wilson setting in for Lee who was playing a gig with his old band from New York at a casino in Indiana. Lee had fun and so did We and all of our Bob Wilson fans.

 

We would like to thank Carol Schilling and her restaurant Dinner By Design for sponsoring the flags for us Saturday night.

We had great crowds both nights and everyone had a blast. 

Sunday was fathers day and I was please to have all my daughters and my two grandchildren come out to the park to hear their dad in concert. That made the day very special.

BlueStone Ivory will be at St Columban parish festival this Friday night. We are very excited about playing there again. it has been a few years since we have played at this festival.           

We have rescheduled our rain out concert in Sycamore Township for August 2nd. At the same place the same time. You can find all the details on our website.

Ladies & Gentlemen I would like to introduce Mr & Mrs Lindahl

What a weekend we had.

To start off our dear friends and loyal fans Kevin and Carol tied the knot Saturday afternoon just before our concert at Keehner Park with a few close friends and family as witnesses. It was a beautiful but short wedding.

Then their immediate family hosted a surprise picnic lunch in one of the shelters there at Keehner Park.

What a great place to hold a wedding. The weather was perfect. Kevin and Carol couldn't be happier.

 

We the members of BlueStone Ivory held our annual band members and family picnic also just before the concert. Here are a couple unofficial members of "BSI" that were in attendance.

     The big brown lab is Harvey, Rusty's puppy.                The black & white dog, Bear is Lee's dog.  

          All the members of BSI have pets. Mostly dogs with a couple of cats sprinkled in.

 

We would like to thank our Flag sponsors for this weekend. Saturday at Keehner Park the Takanen Family were our sponsors and Sunday at Corwin Nixon Park in Mason Humphrey's Mortgage sponsored the flags.

We handed out over 200 flags at each concert. It is always amazing when we play "God Bless The USA" and look out to the audience and see 200 flags being waved with the music in a patriotic gesture. I get the chills up my spine every time.

 

 

We also introduced a brand new song that features Ted and Rusty. It is our version of Europa originally recorded by Carlos Santana in his guitar version and then released by Gato Barbieri on Tenor sax. BSI now has our version with Ted & Rusty. WOW, It is great and the crowd really loved it.

                    

You can check us out this Sunday late afternoon at Sycamore Township Concert Series at the North Recreation Facility on Solzman Rd. We start the concert at 6:00 pm and finish around 8:00 pm. I'm sure Ted and Rusty will thrill you with their Europa as they come off the stage and wirelessly walk through the crowd.
