July 4th is a day to celebrate the founding of our Wonderful country. This is the day that John Adams and Thomas Jefferson signed the Declaration of Independence that brought legal separation of the American colonies from Great Britain in 1776. This is the very beginning of the United States of America as we know it today.
On July 2, 1776 congress debated and revised the Declaration, finally approving it on July 4. A day earlier, John Adams had written to his wife Abigail:
"The second day of July, 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more."
John Adams was off by 2 days in his letter...however, everything else in his letter has become true. Year after year we celebrate the 4th of July in a grand, musical, loud, colorful way.

This year we plan on giving the audience what they wanted more of last year. That is more music with both bands joined together. We have an entire set of Second Wind songs as well as BlueStone Ivory songs. We had fun putting this all together. We hope you will enjoy watching and listening as we all 17 of us entertain you on July 3rd.
The whole party ends with a fantastic fireworks show provided by our very own Rozzi's Fireworks.
